1. Program & Brand Description

Hyperlocal Stamford and The Stamford Times (stamfordtimes.com), operated by RIVERBANK LLC dba Hyperlocal (619 Hunting Ridge Road, Stamford, CT), provide an SMS community guide and local news service for Stamford, CT, sending conversational replies to user questions about local businesses, places, and town information, as well as proactive local civic/community updates and local business specials to opted-in subscribers.

2. Keyword Double Opt-In & Message Frequency

Users opt in to the program by texting the keyword LOCAL or SUBSCRIBE (or START) to +1 (475) 264-4287. You will first receive a welcome message containing program disclosures and asking you to reply Y to confirm. Once you reply Y, you will receive an enrollment confirmation message. Message frequency varies based on your interactions and local updates. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

3. Cost & Carrier Liability

Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. Opt-Out (STOP) & Customer Support (HELP)

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP (or UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to +1 (475) 264-4287. After you send the SMS message STOP to us, we will confirm your opt-out and stop sending you messages. If you want to join again, text LOCAL or SUBSCRIBE to +1 (475) 264-4287. If you need assistance with the messaging program, reply with the keyword HELP for help, or contact customer support at support@hyperlocal.bot.
